The above pictures are just a sample of the thousands of houses affected by Hurricane Harvey in 2017. YWAM (Youth With A Mission) and Ecclesia Houston were the ministries that I worked for in overseeing these house remodels. We had hundreds of volunteers come from all over the world to help and I oversaw and remodeled 40+ homes in the Lakewood neighborhood (North East Houston).
All of these homes had pre-existing problems before the flood and so we insulated, drywalled, poured concrete, replaced electrical, water lines, drains, roofs, siding, flooring, etc. throughout these homes. They were better off when we left them, than before the flood.
